Hi, we’re Nox.

With over 30 years of combined event specific experience, NOX provides event management, equipment, consultation, and onsite support services for 50+ events annually, primarily in the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic & Florida, for clients such as Ironman, Skyway 10K, and Life Time. We’re jointly based in Spartanburg, SC and Raleigh, NC.

We enjoy building events and our relationships with clients and colleagues; we embrace the suck, enjoy the grind and look forward to helping you execute your vision efficiently. Who We Are

Bob Fox

Hi, I’m Bob. I’m an Aquarius. I got into the event industry by accident back in ’06 as an intern managing warehouse operations for the Miami Marathon, and it stuck. I stayed with the company through several mergers and acquisitions advancing to directing events, managing our national event ops teams and launching races in new markets until 2015. At that point, I went out on my own to start and grow Nox. I enjoy traveling, building relationships, the process of solving problems, the excitement of event day, working outdoors, and getting my hands dirty. My favorite time of race day is sunrise and my favorite part of what we do is the people we get to work with. I spend my time outside of working hanging with my lovely wife (Jessica), taking naps with our dog (Hazel), and suffering thorough NC State athletics regardless of the season.

Norm Pingley

Hi, I’m Norm. I’m a self proclaimed legend in the endurance sports industry (just ask I’ll happily tell you). I’m a product of Western Carolina University and have produced over 500 races for the past 20 years; Everything from an Ironman to a fun run. More recently I helped start the Skyway 10k which donated over $600,000 to the Armed Forces Families Foundation. If you need me, I’ll likely be at the pub but I always answer my phone. If I’m not working, I’m watching baseball, fishing, or doing something involving Star Wars.
